We're looking for an exceptional School Nurse-LVN for a full-time position in Hillsborough, CA from March 1st through June 11th. This School Nurse will work M-F, 8:00 - 3:00, Wednesdays will be facilitating staff COVID testing (contactless, self-administering oral swab).

Duties/Experience needed:

• Ability to use a computer for reporting - google skills are highly desirable.
• Knowledge/ability to learn about school immunization and reporting
• Basic First Aid/CPR/AED/EPi-Pen training
• Seizures/protocols
• Pediatric diabetic needs
• Ability to contact medical staff for health information related to IEPs/504 planning
• COVID-19 safety protocols (training students/staff, contacting parents, monitor site safety implementation)

Job Requirements for School Nurse-LVN:

• Desire to bring life-giving excellence to school-aged children
• 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience as a (LVN or LPN) (Pediatrics experience is ideal, school-based (LVN or LPN) experience is preferred) within the last 3 years (may include residency or clinical practicum)
• Valid Nursing (LVN or LPN) California license or ability to obtain one
• Mandated Reporter Training Certificate
• School Nurse Credential preferred, but not required
